9/20/2014 · I’ve got a 2011 series one FG XT sedan that had a smart bar fitted. I removed the smart bar and replaced it with a standard bumper. I now have a bulb failure indicator warning and a fast flash even though I’ve checked and all indicators are working (the smart bar had separate indicators/parkers fitted to complement the standard car).
8/5/2016 · When a globe in one of the indicators goes out the other indicator on the same side as the one that has failed will flash quickly. At the same time the indicators in the instrument cluster will flash quickly and the audible indicator will click quickly. Turn each of the indicators on and check that they are working.

2/25/2016 · I got these from someone else who had an FG he used them for a couple months and went back to the originals. So I paid $120 for these instead of $449. So I am a little less worried about why the indicator bulb isn’t working so soon after installation. If they look nice enough and are reliable I’m in as I have an FG , but I do have reservations.
I discovered this is a common fault in BF falcons – the headlights stop working, and it seems to be related to the indicator stalk. Quite some time ago the Auto headlight setting on the falcon stopped working. I wasn’t too fussed about that, I’m pretty capable of deciding if I need the headlights on or not.
